Great pump[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a surprise early baby who spent some time in special care and was tube fed for some time. I used this pump to provide milk for him and to make sure my supply came in while he was too weak to breast feed. I am now not using it at all as he is fully breast feeding.
I did find it time consuming because it's a single pump, but it is much cheaper than the double. The settings are easy to navigate and i found i didn't have to turn it too high to get a good amount of milk. It's very easy to clean because there are only a few parts to it. I used a microwave steamer to sterilise to make things faster.

Great pump - few parts, easy to work and maintain[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tossed up for a long time whether to get a double or single pump and which brand and style. Really glad I settled on this especially after seeing friends constantly replacing fragile parts on theirs and struggling to clean properly.
This has very few parts needing attention - have not had to replace any to date and don’t expect I will any time soon.
All parts are easy to remove and reassemble in no time at all. All parts are really easy to clean. Easy to use, quick to charge.
Highly recommend for a straightforward, no nonsense pump that won’t require constant maintenance or tonnes of time and effort to clean!

Superb solo pump-all rounderBest pump I’ve ever used. Medela solo is superb pump, it has made pumping easier for me. Being a mum is so busy on top of that when you have to pump and clean pump/bottles. Easy to assemble and disassemble, super easy to clean. Very convenient for pumping, minimal mess. Quiet and fancy. The only mistake I made is to order solo rather than going for dual now that I’m exclusively pumping. It takes me bit linger to finish pumping both sides but it has helped me to establish good milk supply.

Best breast pump![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchase this breast pump when my daughter was in NICU to keep my supply up! It was soooo easy to put together and use. It’s super gentle on the nipples and easy to use! It’s light and portable, you can pack and use it basically anywhere. The battery life is great too, I didn’t need to charge it that often! The only thing it just comes with one bottle so you would need to get some more! It is pretty straight forward to use no complications we love it!
The only thing that was annoying was sometimes it will turn on itself when I put it in my bag! If only the on button was a switch or a case was provided so it doesn’t just turn on! I definitely would recommend it!

So portable and easy to use![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a second hand Tommee Tippee pump ready in case I needed it. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it to work. The next day I went and bought the Medela Solo as it was the only pump I could get that day living in a rural area. It was so easy to use and worked right away, which was a massive relief for this tired, stressed mama! I later borrowed a double breast pump from my local hospital but I love the portability of the Solo. I could push Bub in the pram to get him to sleep while pumping at the same time! A double pump might be easier next time to save time, but this is a great, affordable option for someone who is only pumping occasionally. It is also very easy to clean, all the bottle parts can go in the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

The best pump ![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pump! I had previously owned a double pump but decided a single pump would be easier to manoeuvre whilst multi-tasking. I attached a baby toy clip to the loop on the pump, then clip the pump to the top of my pants. This allows me to be hands free whilst pumping and getting other jobs like vacuuming done at the same time. You can cut holes in a old sports bra if you don’t have a pumping bra. This pump has great suction and has increased my supply dramatically. I love that it recharges super quick and has a usb plug that I can use to recharge the battery in the car ! This pump is simple to use with the let down and suction level control buttons on the front face. I use my pump after feeds several times per day for 5 months without any issues! Love it !

Perfect compact pump[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the medela solo pump for my return to shift work when my bubs was 11 months old. The solo pump was perfect for what I needed and actually super efficient to pump with for a small portable unit. I did find the unit itself a little heavy if I wanted to carry it around while pumping but that’s a tiny detail. It’s also very quick to recharge via the usb it comes with! Would definitely recommend for its price point

Comfortable and portable[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The medela solo is truely and incredible machine. It is very gentle especially during the beginning stages of learning how to express. The battery is one of the best’s I have seen and only requires charging once every few days when regularly expressing for a new born. Although it is only a single pump meaning it takes double the time to finish an expressing session.
